Matthew Roszak is the seventh richest person in the world of cryptocurrencies. Entrepreneur and investor. His first contact with cryptocurrencies took place in 2012 when he bought his first Bitcoins. He was dubbed “The Who’s Who in the Cryptocurrency World” by The Wall Street Journal.

He successfully raised $135 million to develop both projects. He is also the co-founder and president of SilkRoad Reality Capital, a real estate investment and management company. Forbes estimates Roszak has a net worth of $1.2 billion in cryptocurrency.

He is a great advocate of cryptocurrencies. He has invested in over 20 Bitcoin-related start-ups, including BitFury, BitGo, Blockstream, Robocoin and Xapo. He is an advisor to several Bitcoin accelerators, including Bitropolis, Decentral, and is the founder of the Chicago Bitcoin Center. He also produced the first documentary about Bitcoin “The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin”. He is involved in charitable ventures, sits on several boards of non-profit organizations, including BitGive (which supports blockchain technology in the field of philanthropy) and the Chamber of Digital Commerce. Roszak is a board member and beneficial owner of various companies including: Barefoot Landing, Dunvegan Space, Eboost, MissionMode, Onramp, Robocoin, SolidSpace, TrueLook and Viwawa.
