Pumpkin spice flavored currency

--

There is no doubt that the Starbucks brand has conquered the whole world with its coffees. It was influenced not only by the unique coffee flavors, but also by appropriate marketing. And now the company is beginning to work on creating a larger coffee-loving community and will be interested in purchasing coffee-related content and extras. In doing so, it plans to connect with younger people and generate additional income beyond retail sales.

The latest Starbucks financial report shows that revenues in the second quarter of this year have significantly exceeded expectations and compared to the same quarter last year, the net profit amounted to USD 674.5 million. Along with the announcement of the report, the company made public its desire to appear in the digital space and release its own token.

“Third place”, as the new community is to be called, will be aimed at building a new, virtual place between home and work, which is essential for customers after the pandemic.

The details have not been presented yet (we do not know the creator or the technology that will be used), but the idea is to create an ecologically sustainable platform that has two tasks — sharing collectibles and access to exclusive content and experiences for regular customers. It was mentioned that the first Starbucks NFT collection will tell the story of “Starbucks artistic expression”.

The company already has experience in creating a community of coffee lovers. The Starbucks application is available, thanks to which loyal customers can reap symbolic benefits. The basis for using the application is to make purchases with points or top up the account with your own funds.

It is the second most popular payment app in the US.

It can therefore be expected that the arrival of Starbucks NFT at the end of 2022 will be well-thought-out and error-free from companies that are entering the blockchain market too quickly.
